I read “THE FIFTEENTH CHARACTER” and I like this story. First I’ll introduce the main character in this story to you. The girl’s name is Sally Brown and she works at Happy Hills in her holiday. The Happy Hills is an amusement park and every day lots of people come to there. She is always very tired in the evening.
One day she arrives there early in the morning and every morning Mr. Parry who is owner of this amusement park puts a list of Jobs for today in the worker’s canteen. She looks at the list and it says ‘Sally Brown-Connie Cat. Break: eleven o’clock.’ She does not like the job and nobody likes wearing the costumes but she should do. The day is special day because a very famous man is coming to Happy Hills. Zapp is a singer and she likes him very much. A helicopter comes down and Zapp gets out. He begins to sing and he introduces a CD of his new song but he does not sing it. He wants to sing that song at his concert. He enjoys with people so he is having a wonderful time. During Sully and her friend William take a break, suddenly lots of people come into the canteen. Zapp lost his CD ad he cannot find it. He is very angry so Mr. Parry closes all doors and he makes telephone call police. The police look everywhere and visitors so people are angry and tired. Sully is thinking and she looks at Jobs for today list with very carefully. And then she notices one strange thing that is the number of the list. She counts the name of list and there are fourteen people are characters on the list. But there are fifteen characters there! She talks that and Mr. Parry says to the characters to take off their heads. They take off their heads and one woman begins to run away but William stops her and takes off her costume. They find a big pocket and they find Zapp’s CD. The singer is smiles. On Saturday night, Sully and William are invited his concert.
